What This 4040 Square T-slot Profile Is
This 4040 mm metric 20 series square T-slot profile is a square aluminium extrusion with a T-shaped slot running along each face. The slot accepts standard T-nuts, bolts and connectors, so a frame can be built by cutting the profile to length and bolting the pieces together instead of welding them. Because the slot runs the full length of the bar, fittings can be positioned anywhere along it, which makes the profile easy to rework and reuse.
