Product Overview
The 6063 curved alloy large diameter aluminum pipe is an extruded aluminium tube made from the 6063 magnesium-silicon alloy, a grade widely used for architectural and industrial profiles because of its good extrudability and clean surface finish. The curved form and large outer diameter let the pipe follow architectural lines and act as a visible structural or decorative element.
Material and Construction
Aluminium alloy 6063 is a heat-treatable alloy in which magnesium and silicon are the main alloying elements. It offers good corrosion resistance in normal atmospheric conditions and takes anodising and powder coating well. The pipe is hot extruded and then curved to the required radius, so the wall thickness stays uniform around the bend. Large diameter sections give stiffness for long spans while keeping weight low versus steel tube.

Surface Treatment
After forming, the pipe can be anodised in natural, silver or coloured finishes, powder coated to a chosen shade, brushed for a subdued sheen, or polished for a bright reflective surface. The treatment chosen affects the final appearance and the level of weather resistance shown over time.
Working and Fabrication
The alloy can be cut to length with common saws, drilled and tapped, welded by suitable methods, and joined with brackets or connectors. Because it is light, large sections are easier to handle and install than comparable steel parts.
