Rectangular 45x90 Aluminum T-Slot Profile
The 45 x 90 mm rectangular aluminum T-slot profile is a double-width structural extrusion for frames that carry more weight than a standard square section. Six open slots run the full length of the profile, giving builders several mounting planes on a single part. Instead of stacking two square profiles side by side, one rectangular section provides the same width with fewer joints, fewer fasteners and faster assembly.
Material and Section
The profile is extruded from 6063 aluminum alloy, a grade widely used for structural sections because it combines reasonable strength with good extrusion quality and low weight. The section is anodized to leave a clean, corrosion-resistant finish that protects the surface in workshops and damp areas. The rectangular geometry keeps the profile stiff along its length, which helps it span gaps between supports and resist twisting when panels are fitted to both faces.
Because the slot follows a common European standard, standard fittings can be shared across square and rectangular profiles. This keeps the stock of brackets and fasteners in a workshop consistent, whether a frame uses one section size or a mixture of sizes.
Slot Geometry and Fastening
Each T-slot accepts standard T-nuts, anchor connectors and hammer nuts, so brackets, hinges and plates can be placed anywhere along the length. Open slots on several faces let a frame grow in more than one direction from the same profile. Because fasteners sit inside the slot, the outer surfaces stay flush and parts can be loosened and moved later without drilling new holes, which suits structures that are expected to change or expand.

Ordering Notes
The profile is supplied in standard lengths and can be cut to size, with machined ends and drilled holes available on request. Accessories such as T-nuts, corner brackets, joining plates and end caps can be supplied with the extrusion so that a complete frame can be assembled from one order. Please confirm the length, finish and quantity required for your build before ordering.
There are three types of option: 4590, 4590L and 4590W profiles. All 45 series T-slot aluminium extrusion profile can freely connect with each other.
