This extruded aluminum angle bar is a right-angle profile formed by pushing heated 6000 series alloy through a shaped die. The two legs form a clean 90-degree corner with an even wall, making the section useful wherever a light but rigid edge, frame or bracket is needed. It is commonly built into panel frames, machine guards, racking and general industrial assemblies put together from straight lengths.
The profile is extruded from 6000 series aluminum alloy, chosen because it flows well through a die while still giving useful strength after cooling. The alloy keeps the section light enough to handle by hand yet stiff enough to hold a frame square. Because the metal is extruded as one piece, there is no seam along the corner, so the leg joint does not open up under load.
Angle bar is supplied with straight legs of even thickness and a sharp outer corner. The inside corner carries a small radius from the die, which spreads stress instead of concentrating it at a sharp notch. Wall thickness stays consistent along the length, so mating parts sit flat against the legs and drilled holes line up from one piece to the next.
The surface is left in its natural extruded finish, and the fine lines left by the die are normal for extruded material and do not affect the strength of the section. The oxide layer that forms naturally on aluminum helps the profile resist the rust a steel angle would develop in damp or outdoor conditions.
Profiles are cut to custom lengths for a given frame or assembly. Because each piece is measured at cutting rather than limited to a fixed stock length, a frame can be planned around the profile instead of adjusted to fit it. Ends are cut square so they butt cleanly against adjoining members, and cut edges are deburred to keep hands and mating surfaces free of sharp flashes.
Typical uses include panel and door frames, machine guards and covers, shelf and racking uprights, trolley and workbench frames, and light structural brackets. The angle also works as edge trim or corner reinforcement where two flat panels meet, and because it is easy to drill, cut and bolt it suits assemblies built on site that may need to come apart later.
When cutting and drilling, clamp the profile so it cannot twist, and use a blade suited to aluminum to avoid tearing the surface. Support long lengths at both ends while they are worked. Store profiles flat and dry, and avoid stacking heavy items on unsupported spans where the section could bend permanently.
Aluminium Main Feature:
High weather resistance anti scratch anticorrosion and good weather resistance subtle edges and elegant appearance and easy processing and installation high brightness and hardness. So it is widely used in aluminum window, door, curtain wall, hand railing, normal aluminum profile, decorative and industrial aluminum profile etc.
