Aluminum Corner Brackets and 45 Degree Corner Joints
Aluminum corner brackets are the connecting parts that hold extruded aluminium profiles together at a fixed angle. Our 45 degree corner joints, corner connectors and corner braces are produced for aluminium profile frames, display stands, machine guards and furniture, where a clean, strong and repeatable corner is required. Every bracket is machined to suit the slot and wall thickness of the profile it serves, so the frame closes square without extra shims or hand fitting.
Construction and material
Brackets are supplied as die-cast parts or as CNC machined parts cut from extruded bar stock. Common alloys are 6061 and 6063 aluminium, chosen for good machinability, corrosion resistance and a surface that anodizes evenly. Where higher stiffness is needed, the corner brace is thickened at the web of the angle, and the fixing holes are countersunk to accept the standard profile fasteners used in T-slot systems. Threaded inserts, captive nuts and slotted holes can all be included in the same part.

Finish options
Parts are available in mill finish, satin or matte anodized finish in natural silver, black and bronze, and in powder coated colours matched to the frame profile. Anodizing forms a hard, non-flaking oxide layer that protects the surface in humid and outdoor conditions, while powder coating is chosen when a specific colour has to be matched across a whole frame. Edges are deburred so that handling the parts during assembly is safe.
Applications
Typical uses include aluminium window and door frames, curtain wall sub-frames, LED and light box frames, exhibition booths, shop fittings, laboratory benches, machine safety guards, solar mounting rails and tent or canopy frame corners. Because the bracket and the profile are made to the same drawing, a complete frame corner can be ordered and assembled with a single part reference, which keeps assembly time and part count low.
Customization
Dimensions, hole positions, angle, thread size and surface finish can be produced to customer drawings. Provide the profile series, the required angle and the fixing method, and the bracket is machined accordingly. Surface treatment, packing and marking can be arranged to match the rest of the frame kit. Please send your drawing or sample for a quotation.
