Anodized 6063 Aluminium Solar Panel Frame Profile
This aluminium extrusion profile is produced for solar panel frames, where a light, stiff border holds the module laminate and protects its edges during transport and installation. The section is extruded in 6063 aluminium alloy and anodised, giving a silver finish that resists weathering and keeps the frame looking uniform across an array.
Alloy, temper and tolerance
Frames are extruded in 6000 series alloy, typically 6063, and supplied in T5 through T8 temper so the profile holds its shape under wind and snow load. Dimensional tolerance is held to about 1%, which keeps the mitre joints tight and avoids gaps at the corners of the assembled frame.
Frame assembly and fit
Because the profile is cut to the customer size and tolerance is held to about 1%, the four sides of a module frame can be mitred and joined without hand fitting. Mounting holes and drainage slots are punched after extrusion, so the finished frame arrives ready for corner key assembly rather than needing a second machining step at the module line. The silver anodised surface also gives a clean edge around the laminate, which suits utility scale modules and smaller custom panels alike.
Finish and appearance
The profile is anodised after extrusion and finished in silver. Anodising builds a hard oxide layer that resists scratching and corrosion, so the frame keeps its appearance over years of outdoor exposure and does not need repainting. The finish also gives a consistent colour match between frame sections produced in different batches.
Cutting and secondary operations
Lengths are cut to the customer size rather than supplied in fixed stock lengths. Processing services cover bending, decoiling, welding, punching and cutting, so punched mounting holes, cut mitres and other frame details can be produced after extrusion and before packing.

Production is certified to ISO9001 and samples are available for approval. Lead time is about 31 days for 1-1000 kilograms, with larger volumes scheduled individually, and standard delivery runs 22 to 30 days. Profiles ship by sea freight and can be paid by L/C, T/T, Western Union or MoneyGram. Extrusion and finishing take place in Jiangsu, China.
