Customized 6061 7005 7075 Anodized Aluminum Pipes and Seamless Aluminum Tubes for Bike Frames
Product Overview
Anodized aluminum pipes and seamless aluminum tubes produced in 6061, 7005 and 7075 alloy. The three grades cover different strength and fabrication needs, so the same section can be supplied as an extruded pipe or as a cold drawn seamless tube depending on the service the part sees. Anodized surfaces give a hard, uniform finish that resists corrosion and handling wear.
Alloy Comparison
6061 is the general purpose structural alloy: it welds, machines and anodizes predictably and is the usual choice for frames and general tubing. 7005 is a higher strength alloy associated with bicycle frames and similar stressed structures, where its stiffness allows thinner walls. 7075 is the strongest of the three and is normally used for machined components rather than welded assemblies, because its composition makes welding impractical.

Extruded Pipe and Seamless Tube
Extruded pipe is pressed through a die, which makes it economical in long runs and lets the profile be shaped beyond a simple round section. Seamless tube is formed without a longitudinal weld, so it carries no seam line, gives more uniform wall thickness around the circumference and is preferred where the tube is expanded, swaged or pressure tested.

Anodized Finish
Anodizing grows an oxide layer out of the aluminium surface rather than coating it, so the finish cannot flake off. The layer is harder than the base metal, improves corrosion resistance and can be dyed to a specified colour. Clear anodizing keeps the metallic appearance, while coloured finishes are used where parts must be identified or matched to a frame.
Machining and Fabrication
Tubes and pipes can be supplied finished to drawing: cut to length, drilled, tapped, chamfered, notched and CNC machined where end fittings are needed. Secondary work is done before anodizing so that cut edges are also protected by the oxide layer.

Quality Control
Incoming billets are checked for alloy, tubes are measured for outside diameter, wall thickness, straightness and length, and anodized parts are inspected for colour consistency and surface defects.
