Welded Seamless Aluminum Telescopic Tube | Custom Grow Tent Poles with Bending and Welding Services

The aluminum telescopic tube on this page is a welded seamless tube supplied as a collapsible grow tent pole. It is made to the customer's drawing and delivered with bending and welding services already applied, so the poles arrive in the shape needed for the tent frame instead of as straight stock that still has to be formed on site. Telescopic construction means the pole is built from two or more sleeves of different diameter that slide inside one another, letting the assembled frame collapse into a compact bundle.

Seamless welded construction. The tube body is formed and welded along its length and then finished so that the outside surface is smooth over the joint. A telescopic pole works only if the inner and outer sleeves fit closely, so the weld area is dressed back and the diameter is checked against the drawing before the sections are paired. This keeps the sliding action free of tight spots and stops the sleeves from rattling when the frame is standing.

Sections, fit and finish. The number of sections, the outside diameter of each sleeve and the overlap between them are set by the customer's drawing. More sections give a shorter folded length, while fewer sections give a stiffer pole and fewer joints to check. Sleeves are matched in pairs by diameter, and end fittings, caps or inserts can be welded in place as part of the same order. Surface treatment can be mill finish, anodising or powder coating.

Bending and welding services. Poles that have to follow the profile of a tent frame are bent on a mandrel bender to a radius taken from the drawing. Because the tube is seamless, the wall does not open on the outside of the bend and the section stays round through the curve. Welding covers the joining of sleeves to fittings, the closing of tube ends and the assembly of small brackets.

Applications. The main use is the collapsible grow tent pole, where the telescopic action lets the frame be set up and taken down without tools and allows a single frame size to cover more than one tent height. The same welded telescopic tube is used for adjustable awning and canopy supports, lightweight display frames, adjustable handle extensions and folding furniture frames. In each case the requirement is the same: a smooth sliding fit, a predictable wall thickness and a weld that will not show through the finish.

Quality checks. Before dispatch each pole is checked for folded and extended length, sliding force, bend angle and weld appearance. A sample pole is approved first and then used as the reference for the production run, so the second order matches the first.
