Material and Alloy

Tubes are drawn from 6000 series aluminum alloy, a common extrusion and drawing grade that pairs moderate strength with low weight. The alloy cold-draws well, so thin, straight walls can be produced while the tube stays round and consistent along its length. Uniform wall thickness lets each section slide into the next without binding and helps the tube hold its shape through repeated assembly and take-down.

Structure and Connectors

Sections join with matching twist-lock connectors. The connector is pushed into the tube end and rotated until the locking feature seats, holding the parts together without tools. Connector bodies use the same alloy family as the tubes so the joint expands much as the tube does. Ends are cut square and dressed so the connector seats fully, and tube bores are kept clean so joints slide freely.

Surface Finish
