Product Overview

This small diameter aluminum tube is a cold drawn round tube produced from aluminium alloy stock. Cold drawing pulls a pre-formed hollow section through a die at room temperature, which tightens the outside and inside diameter tolerances, evens out the wall thickness and leaves a smooth inner bore. The finished tube is straight and clean, ready to fit closely into machined parts and fluid components.

Because the tube is supplied in small outside diameters, it suits assemblies where space is limited and where weight matters. Lengths can be cut, deburred and chamfered so the tube goes straight into a production line without a second machining step.

Material and Construction

The tube is drawn from aluminium alloy, a light metal with good resistance to atmospheric corrosion and a high strength to weight ratio. The round section behaves the same in every direction, so bending and forming are predictable. A natural oxide layer forms on the surface and protects the metal in normal indoor and outdoor service.

Size Range

Quality Control

Each production run is checked for outside diameter, inside diameter, wall thickness, straightness and surface condition before packing. Tubes are inspected for scratches, dents and drawing marks, and dimensions are measured against the agreed specification.
