Aluminum Alloy Tube 6063 7075 for Industrial Frame and Pneumatic Pipe Systems

This aluminum alloy tube is an extruded round profile produced in 6063 and 7075 grades for industrial frame and pipe applications. The tube is formed by hot extrusion of an aluminium billet through a steel die, giving a continuous length with a uniform wall section and a smooth outer surface. It keeps a consistent outer diameter and wall thickness along the full length, which suits repeated cutting and fitting in frame and line systems. Alloy selection follows the duty of the part. 6063 is a medium-strength aluminium-magnesium-silicon alloy with good extrudability and a fine surface finish, which suits visible frame members, guard rails, handrails, pneumatic line runs and general mechanical structures. 7075 is a zinc-bearing aluminium alloy with higher mechanical strength, which suits brackets, load-carrying frame joints and machine parts where stiffness and strength matter more than formability. Both grades are supplied in the as-extruded temper or in a heat-treated condition. Dimensions are made to order. Outer diameter, wall thickness and cut length are quoted to the customer drawing, with common round sizes from 6 mm to 100 mm outer diameter and wall thickness from 0.8 mm to 10 mm depending on alloy and size. Tubes are cut to a fixed length or to a length range, and ends can be left as cut, deburred, chamfered or machined to fit a mating part. Where a frame needs a press fit or a sliding fit, the tolerances are agreed in advance and inspected on the finished tube. Surface condition is controlled to suit the end use. Extruded tube is supplied with a mill finish for parts that will be further processed, or with an anodised, powder-coated or painted finish for visible frame and pipe members. Anodising is available in natural, black and several colours; powder coating gives a thicker, more opaque finish for outdoor frames and guard structures. Cut ends and machined features are kept free of burrs so that assembly and later finishing steps are not affected. Typical applications include industrial machine frames, workbench and guarding structures, pneumatic and air line pipe runs, display and exhibition frames, heat exchanger and condenser support parts, and general structural tube work. Tubes are packed in bundles with end protection and then wrapped for transport so that the finish is not marked in handling. Alloy, temper, dimensions and finish are confirmed on the order, and the delivered heat can be checked against a mill certificate covering chemical composition and mechanical properties.
