Aluminum Alloy Tent Tube in 7001 and 7075

This round aluminum alloy tube is produced for tent poles, support frames and similar slim tube assemblies. It is supplied in aluminium alloy 7001 and 7075 and in three working sizes, 8mm, 9mm and 11mm, so that a complete pole set can be matched from a single supply.

Alloy Grades and Temper

Alloy 7001 and 7075 are aluminium grades used in light, rigid tube structures. Temper is available from T3 through T8, and the exact temper for an order is confirmed against the buyer drawing before production begins.

Sizes and Dimensions

Standard outer sizes are 8mm, 9mm and 11mm in a round section. Wall thickness starts from 0.5mm and above. Cut length is normally under 6000mm, and lengths can be cut to the drawing so that the tube fits the finished pole, mast or frame. A general dimensional tolerance of about 10 percent applies, and tighter limits can be agreed against the drawing.

Size guide: 8mm and 9mm tube is usually chosen for lighter poles, thin frames and small components, while 11mm tube is used where a stiffer section is needed in the same assembly. Because all three sizes share the same alloy and finish, they can be combined in one pole set without a change in appearance.

Surface Finish and Colour

Surface treatment options include anodized, mill finished, polished, powder coated and sand blasted. Anodized tube is available in colours such as silver, red, yellow and green, which lets the pole match the rest of the assembly and gives a uniform, durable look.

Fabrication and Processing

The tube can be supplied as extruded, drawn or rolled product. Further processing covers cutting, bending, punching, decoiling and welding, so sections can arrive ready to assemble instead of as plain straight lengths.

Applications

Typical applications include tent poles, support poles, backdrop frames, camping and hiking gear, bike frames, and small tube parts such as RC boat components. The light weight and round profile suit any place where a slim, stiff pole is required.

Ordering

Each order is made to drawing. Alloy, size, wall thickness, temper, length, finish and colour are confirmed against that drawing before production, and the drawing can be reviewed together before the run. Mixed sizes within one order are possible, which makes it practical to supply one complete pole set at a time.

Quality and Support

Every batch is checked for straightness, section and surface quality before it leaves the workshop, and anything that does not match the drawing is reviewed before shipment. Sea freight is supported for larger consignments. Technical questions about alloy choice, wall thickness, finish or tolerance are answered against the drawing, and we can advise which of the available sizes best fits a given pole or frame.
